How to Order

Registering as a Trade Customer

As a Trade Only supplier we have to be sure we are only supplying Trade customers. All our customers therefore have to register before they can order from the website - but please note we ONLY use your details to process your order and they are not passed on to any other 3rd parties for marketing or promotion.

Registration is really easy, simply click on Creating as Account and fill in your details, a business address (invoice address), delivery address and contact details. Once these are set up we will review your details to ensure you are a bone fide business. We then notify you the account is live by email you can start ordering.

You can set up multiple delivery addresses for a single trade customer and enter new delivery addresses at the checkout, so if you need more than one delivery address, just set up the one you use most often and add to it later. You can also modify any of your details once you have logged in

Shopping on the site

If you have used any on-line ecommerce website you will find shopping on the Cley Smokehouse Trade site straight forward. Simply navigate to the product(s), enter the number of units and click the 'Add to Basket' icon. Once your basket total has reached £100 you can enter any delivery details (such as a new delivery address or specific delivery requirements), review your order and continue to payment. If you need to alter quantities or delete a produc the shopping cart allows you to make changes before you checkout.

Please remember you are purchasing a chilled/fresh product so you MUST be available to accept delivery on the date requested or leave details for the delivery driver in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS section of the checkout

Cley Smokehouse cannot accept responsibility for a failed delivery at the correct location and on the specified delivery day

Payment

Payment must be made at the time of orders. We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards (except American Express and Diners Club). Card transactions are processed by SagePay on their secure servers. This means the transaction is secure and Cley Smokehouse have no access to your card details

We are unable to offer credit terms to customers we supply via the cshtrade.com website

Delivery

Standard delivery is free for the minimum order value of £100.

As we are shipping a perishable product we can only offer a free delivery service for delivery to your premises on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Therefore Orders received on Monday - Thursday, by 12.00 midday will be packed and despatched the same day for delivery the next day. Any orders received on a Friday or over the weekend will not be despatched until Monday for delivery on Tuesday

If you need a delivery urgently outside of the normal delivery days please call us on 01263 740282 as we can normally arrange something

If you are nobody is going to be available on the day of delivery you must leave instructions for the driver in the Special Instructions section during check-out. Cley Smokehouse cannot accept responsibility for a failed delivery at the correct location and on the specified delivery day.

Refunds

All our deliveries are covered by our Freshness Guarantee. That means if the product does not arrive in perfect condition we will refund your purchase in full or offer you a replacement. To qualify you must contact us on the day of delivery on 01263 740282.

Due to the perishable nature of the product we are unable to accept returns
